Advanced Reconnaissance Corp. (ARC) Announces AgVu to be Featured at InfoAg

Fishkill, New York, July 8, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Advanced Reconnaissance Corp. (www.advrecon.com) announced today that it will feature AgVu™, its product for mapping crop conditions, at the InfoAg Conference in July. ARC’s AgVu™ team will be available to present growers and agronomists with the benefits of AgVu™ for precision agriculture. With reliable deliveries every other week throughout a growing season, AgVu™ uniquely provides timely detection of areas when and where crops need attention for improved yields at reduced cost.

The InfoAg Conference, a leading event in precision agriculture, will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Springfield, Illinois from July 16th through 18th, 2013. InfoAg provides growers a forum to see the direct benefits of precision agriculture, and to register for AgVu™, as ARC expands its AgVu™ deliveries from California to the Corn Belt.

According to ARC’s VP of Engineering and Operations, Dr. Renee Kent, “InfoAg is the perfect venue for growers to see the benefits of AgVu™ for precision agriculture first-hand. We are truly excited to expand AgVu™ deliveries to growers throughout the MidWest.”

Since beginning flight operations in the Central Valley in May, AgVu™ products have benefitted customers throughout California by providing early and timely information for a wide variety of crops such as corn, wheat, nuts, tomatoes, strawberries, and watermelons. AgVu™ simply pinpoints issues and the location of those issues, allowing the grower to more efficiently manage farm operations and reduce costs of resources.
